Summertime scavenger hunt photos

Here are a few more of my finds but I still have a long way to go!

No. 1 - a sign welcoming people to my home town

No. 2 - a garden gnome, this one is in a neighbour's garden

and this one I found at the garden centre.

..is what I should have called this layout!  I didn't come to me until I'd stuck all the letters down at then it was too late.

Millie hasn't been feeling too well of late and Chris lay on the floor with her to give her a cuddle and next minute he was fast asleep!  

I've done this page following Sue's lovely sketch.

My second page is for the weekly challenge on UKs again using a sketch, fabric or stitching, a favourite colour in our wardrobe and dots.  There are lots of dots, the background paper is full of them and my current favourite colour in my wardrobe is turquoise so I have used that in some of the lettering.  I completely forgot about the fabric or stitching aspect but I found a fabric covered button I'd made with a butterfly on it so that went down nicely.

Beat the Christmas Rush

My first "proper" blog post, whoop, whoop!

My friend Sue has a challenge on her blog called Beat the Christmas Rush and the idea is to make 5 Christmas cards each month so that come December you'll have a nice stack ready to write:)  So this month I have made these:-

I got the idea from Pinterest but I have this really bad habit of seeing things and forgetting to pin them so I can't credit whoever made them, sorry:(

A brand new blog...

A new blog from me - my old one is still going but I will keep that for my Stampin' Up cards and scrapbook pages and use this new one for all the other stuff that I do. 

My daughter came up with the blog name because on a Friday night, my husband and I nearly always frequent a coffee shop and indulge ourselves in scrummy cake and coffee and catch up on our week and apart from that, nothing crafty sprang to mind Lol!

I am hoping that I will get the time to post on a regular basis and I that can make it interesting enough for you all to want to come back :)

Right, I'm going to post this and see if it works!
